Reyna Rodriguez
Reyna Rodriguez, the small business owner of Linguistica Interpreting and Translation, LLC began her agency in 2007. As a local community member, she noticed that very few public meetings were offering interpretation services. As the lifelong interpreter to her parents and new arrivals at school, she knew that something had to be done to establish language access. Simultaneous Interpretation (Conference Interpreting) for public meetings was so scarcely sourced that it became the agency's specialized focus.
Linguistica Interpreting and Translation, LLC (Linguistica) has been serving the community for over 19 years. We are based in the Central Valley. Our office is located in Visalia, CA, with a satellite office in Fresno County. Although we began as an agency specializing in Spanish Simultaneous Interpretation, we soon grew to meet the needs of many local interpreters who wanted to work with a trusted agency that valued their time and talent. It is an honor to be their choice and the go-to agency for over 180 local businesses in diverse sectors.
Linguistica has been supporting Spanish Simultaneous Interpretation in person, online and in hybrid settings providing Spanish, Hmong, and Punjabi just to name a few of the most common local languages. We also support with document translation and voice recording of meetings and outreach services. We have been supporting several public, private, and nonprofit entities with language justice services in order to ensure that all monolingual community members have the opportunity to fully participate and engage. Our team often receives requests to support when technical and/or specialized meeting terminology is expected. We understand how important it is to have technical assistance knowledge to ensure that meetings flow successfully.
Linguistica has had the opportunity to support with specific plans, general plans, measure initiatives, training, educational courses, and many other topics. When you are a community/conference interpreter, you become a jack of all trades. We need to be well-versed in various topics. Some of our established relationships have existed as long as our agency has. We maintain long-term relationships by ensuring that we do not take any relationship for granted. Linguistica looks forward to bridging the language gap for many years to come.
